James Kim's Path

Below are images generated using Google Earth. They include terrain data which gives the viewer a feel for the area's elevation changes.

The data originates from the GPS coordinates provided by the rescue teams and information compiled from various media outlets.

The marked locations include the following:

-the car's location
-where Jim left the road
-where the pants were found
-where the other atricles of clothing were found
-where Jim's remains were found
-the location of the Black Bar Lodge

This is the view looking up to the location of the car. In the foreground is the Black Bar Lodge. I have not seen any reports of whether or not there was a phone there, but reliable information indicates it was closed for the winter. The car's location is at the top center of the image.
